12V LED Light bulbs

EagleLight offers a wide range of 12 volt led lights. These low voltage lighting solutions all run on 12VDC. LED 12v products can operate on two different types of current: Alternating Current (12VAC LED) and Direct Current (12VDC LED). Not all products operate on both. LED track lighting, often using LED light bulbs with MR16 and MR11 bases also can operate on 12 volt to 24 volt system. EagleLight also offers 12V LED G4 bi-pin lights and 12 volt LED strip lights and 12v LED cove lights.

12V Lighting Applications

The 12 volt LED lights shown in this section consist of several application types:

12 Volt Track Lighting

Track lighting uses a couple standard light bulb shapes: MR11 and MR16. MR11 LED light bulbs are a little under 1.5 inches in diameter, MR16 LED light bulbs are two inches in diameter. The bulbs connect to the tracks typically with a bi-pin connector. MR16 bulbs typically have two pins that are 5.3 mm apart. These are called GU5.3 MR16 LEDs, The MR11 LEDs typically have a bi-pin base that is a GU4. This is 2 pins 4 mm apart. For more on this see the EagleLight LED University.

12v G4 Lights

Additional LED 12v lighting products include G4 base replacements for garden and landscape lighting. EagleLight offers several 12v outdoor lighting bulbs for garden lighting, path lights and post lights. These LED G4 lamps include discs and towers to support a wide range of LED landscaping lighting and applications like behind house numbers and hard to reach locations where a longer lasting LED light bulb reduces maintenance costs.
12v lighting is known as low voltage lighting due to the fact that it is lower voltage than the normal line voltage of 120VAC or 240VAC. LED lights often require much less voltage than incandescent lighting.

12v LED Strip Lights and LED Mood Lighting

LED strip lighting and LED rope lighting in this section can run on both 12VDC or through a transformer that takes 120VAC and converts to 12VDC. EagleLight offers several forms of LED strip lighting, the most popular of them are LED mood strips and LED ultra strips.
LED mood strips are a flexible LED product that can generate several colors. There are several forms of remote controllers for LED Mood Strips that allow for do-it-yourself color selection. LED strip lighting is great for cove lighting, under-cabinet lighting and LED accent lighting. The fact that they are 12v lighting solutions also allows for applications like marine LED lights, 12 volt RV LED lights and 12v LED RC lighting.
12 volt LED light bulbs offer a great energy efficient alternative to traditional halogen lamps.
